Just wondering if SDZA will have specified base size standards (perhaps building into rules) or whether those decisions are left to players and their collections?

Just wondering if SDZA will have specified base size standards (perhaps building into rules) or whether those decisions are left to players and their collections? Base sizes aren't actually THAT important - as Measuring is always done head to head. But, if you want to know how models will be based for pictures - Human Sized - 30mm (Survivors, Secret Agents, Carrion, Smaller Dinosaurs) Large Models - 40mm (Bigger Mutants, True Breeds, Torem, Nanotyranosaur, Ceratosaurus) Huge Models - 50mm (BIG Mutants, Pteranodon, other Dinos too big for a 40mm but too small for a 60mm, Swarms of Compsognathus or similar) Massive Models - 60mm (Allosaurus, Parasaurolophus) Gigantic Models - 80mm (Tyranosaurus, Tricerotops - the Ral Partha models of these fit perfectly on 80mm bases) Bikes - DS Cavalry Bases Small Trucks/Cars - DS Chariot Bases Larger Dinosaurs and Vehicles are "unbased" NOW, you might be worrying about Basing Models to "match" (as the "official" choice of basing for S.D.Z.A. comes from the Fenris Aftermath/Apocalypse range). Ian has VERY kindly offered to "bump up" the larger Aftermath/Apocalypse Bases to earlier in his production schedule - so we will be seeing them sooner rather than later.

Yea, I've got a lot of help actually - plenty to ask advice from.
I'm good at PR and Promotions, everything else is quite the steep learning curve LoL

Excellent news. I'm not sure how to mine yet. I have a lot of figures suitable for this setting that are on 25mm round bases already. We will have to see when I get my hands on them though

We will have to see when I get my hands on them though It DOESN'T really matter, as measurements are "head to head" and cover is determined by a Models "actions" not by how big his base is.
